Job summary

Cisco in Penang seeks a Senior Structural Test Engineer to define the ICT and Flying Probe test strategy for our global manufacturing footprint. You will act as a technical authority, guiding test architecture, fixtures, and process improvements across multiple sites.

You will lead design reviews, mentor test engineers, and collaborate with contract manufacturers to ensure high quality, scalable test solutions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Electrical/Manufacturing Engineering or related field.
• 8+ years in structural test development, debug, release on ICT platforms.
• 5+ years with Flying Probe systems (SPEA FP4080 or equivalent).
• Experience leading end-to-end manufacturing test requirements and projects.
• Proven experience guiding multi-functional teams or external partners.

Responsibilities

• Strategic governance for manufacturing test processes and quality metrics.
• Represent structural test in design reviews and set DfT standards.
• Lead ICT and Flying Probe programs; qualify and release test fixtures/assets.
• Conduct senior-level code reviews and manage ECOs/deviations for test programs.
• Integrate OBP strategies and boundary scan flows to improve efficiency.
• Mentor test engineers and coordinate with vendors on fixtures/hardware.
• Advocate automated workflows, version control, and SPC across sites.
