Job summary

Mintel, a leading provider of consumer insights and consulting services, seeks a Director, Global Services, Consultancy in Malaysia. You will lead the Global Services team, shaping delivery excellence and client impact across strategic engagements.

You will develop talent, optimize capacity, and partner with cross-functional leaders to scale Mintel's consulting capabilities while maintaining high standards of insight generation and stakeholder engagement.

Qualifications

• 8+ years' experience in consulting, market research, or consumer insights.
• Significant experience leading and developing teams.
• Strong operational and resource management capability.
• Experience managing utilization, delivery, and team performance metrics.
• Expertise in qualitative and quantitative research methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, and develop the Global Services team of Consulting Managers and Senior Consultants.
• Ensure high-quality project delivery with strong insights and recommendations.
• Oversee resource planning and capacity across the Global Services team.
• Monitor project profitability and support client pitches and proposals.
• Represent Mintel with senior client stakeholders and translate insights into business impact.
