Job summary

Gen is seeking a high-impact Recruiter to support hiring across Kuala Lumpur, Japan, and Chennai. This hybrid role in Kuala Lumpur requires three days in the office weekly and close partnership with leaders across markets.

The role will handle 15–20 mid- to senior-level professional and technical requisitions, requiring strong full-cycle recruiting, adaptability, and a consultative approach to talent strategy. AI fluency and Ashby experience are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Proven experience recruiting mid- to senior-level professional and/or technical talent.
• Experience managing a high-volume requisition load across multiple locations.
• Consultative recruiting with senior stakeholders and operating in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage 15-20 mid- to senior-level professional and technical requisitions across multiple office locations.
• Develop and execute targeted sourcing strategies using Boolean search, talent mapping, competitive research, and passive candidate engagement.
• Leverage AI-driven tools, data insights, and ATS capabilities, such as Ashby, to optimize sourcing workflows and pipeline visibility.
• Partner with hiring managers and functional leaders to define role requirements and align on hiring expectations.
• Drive full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interview coordination, debrief facilitation, and offer support.
• Build consultative relationships with stakeholders by providing market insights and best practices.
• Maintain regular updates on search progress, pipeline quality, and timelines.
• Deliver a high-quality candidate experience and represent Gen’s brand professionally.
• Track recruiting metrics to inform strategy and improve pipeline quality.
• Ensure compliance with processes and onboarding coordination for new hires.
