Job summary

Abbott in Malaysia is seeking a Manager, IT SAP Support to lead SAP production support across S/4HANA and related modules, partnering with global IT teams and business stakeholders to ensure stable operations.

You will manage a team of employees and contractors, oversee change requests and budgets, and drive continuous improvement while complying with FDA/GxP standards where applicable. Location: Malaysia, Selangor.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, business or related discipline.
• 10 years IT experience with increasing responsibility in SAP support, delivery, or project management.
• Hands-on experience with SAP environments: S/4HANA, ECC, SD, FI/CO, MM, WM, and EDI.
• Strong stakeholder management and cross-functional communication.

Responsibilities

• Lead SAP production support tickets across S/4HANA functional areas and prioritise resolutions.
• Ensure services meet SLAs and drive continuous improvements in quality and efficiency.
• Manage Hypercare activities for major SAP implementations, including readiness and metrics.
• Partner with business stakeholders and SAP COE to ensure operational excellence and satisfaction.
• Lead and develop a team of employees and contractors with coaching and performance reviews.
• Review change requests, risk assessments, outages communications, and performance reporting.
• Manage budgets and ensure IT governance, quality, and regulatory compliance (FDA/GxP).
