Job summary

Lear Corporation, a global automotive technology leader, seeks a Purchasing Intern in Malaysia to support the central Non-Production Purchasing Shared Service team across Asia Pacific, Europe & Africa, and North America.

You will handle helpdesk queries, assist with tactical buying, raise purchase orders in Lear's P2P system, and contribute to supplier data management and reporting, while engaging in eProcurement processes and cross-functional work.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
• Interest in procurement and data analysis.
• Strong communication skills are desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide helpdesk support for inbound requests and basic procurement queries.
• Assist with tactical buying activities within defined thresholds.
• Raise purchase orders in Lear’s P2P system.
• Support eProcurement activities including e-RFx sourcing.
• Assist with supplier data management and updating supplier contact information.
