Job summary

Agilent Technologies in Penang, Malaysia seeks an experienced procurement professional to manage end-to-end supply and ensure materials availability from a global base. You will coordinate sourcing for new product introductions, optimize supplier relationships, analyze MRP, and drive inventory controls using SAP/Ariba.

The role involves collaborating with R&D and global teams, delivering reliable supply to support worldwide requirements, and maintaining SOX compliance across procurement

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent.
Typically 7+ years procurement/supply management experience.
Experience with SAP, Ariba; strong analytical skills.
Fluent in English, strong interpersonal skills, independent worker.

Responsibilities

Proactively manage procurement of materials from global supplier base.
Assure procurement and inventory management for high tech materials.
Coordinate sourcing for new product introductions with R&D.
Establish supplier relationships, monitor performance, and develop commodity plans.
Manage material forecasting and production material expediting.
Analyze MRP, determine order release methods, and maintain SAP parameters.
Resolve material disruptions and develop inventory plans; ensure SOX compliance.
