The role focuses on procurement and inventory management of high-tech materials and services, coordinating NPI sourcing with R&D, nurturing supplier relationships, and optimizing MRP and SAP-based processes to maintain cost and schedule integrity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration or equivalent.
• Typically 7 years procurement/supply management experience; direct/indirect materials preferred.
• Experience with SAP and Ariba; strong analytical skills to evaluate inventory levels.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently to achieve results.
• Fluent in English (spoken and written).

Responsibilities

• Proactively manage procurement of materials from a global supply base to support worldwide requirements.
• Assure procurement and inventory management of high-tech or life sciences materials and services.
• Coordinate material sourcing for NPI projects with R&D and manage supplier relationships.
• Establish and maintain supplier relationships, set delivery expectations, and monitor performance.
• Analyze MRP, determine order release methods, maintain SAP parameters, and resolve disruptions.
• Develop inventory plans, manage consignment inventory, ensure SOX compliance, and optimize costs.
