Job summary

Keysight Technologies Malaysia Sdn. Bhd. is looking for an experienced procurement professional to support new product development and introductions in Penang. You will engage suppliers early to ensure material readiness and on-time launches in a fast-paced NPI environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain, business administration, or engineering.
• 5-6 years of procurement experience, preferably supporting NPI or high-tech manufacturing.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and Power BI.

Responsibilities

• Manage procurement activities supporting new product development and introduction; participate in NPI core team meetings and provide updates.
• Source and request quotations for new components, perform price comparisons and supplier selection; place and manage purchase orders for prototypes, pilots, and first production.
• Monitor critical component deliveries, expedite shortages and escalate supplier issues affecting NPI schedules; develop recovery plans.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with R&D, Global Commodity Team, Planning, Manufacturing, Quality, Suppliers and Contract Manufacturers to ensure material readiness and supply continuity.
• Initiate risk management to identify long lead-time/high-risk components and develop mitigation strategies.
