Based in Malaysia, this senior role reports to overseas group leadership and oversees a distributed, multi-country team.

Qualifications

• At least 5 years running teams at Director level or higher in media/post-production operations.
• Led people across multiple countries and developed leaders underneath them.
• Experience in a global company with exposure to overseas leadership.
• Managed audio/mixing teams directly and acted as main ops contact for big clients.
• Able to translate client needs into deliverable team actions.
• Working knowledge of media delivery tools and automation technologies.

Responsibilities

• The full delivery pipeline: mastering, quality control, delivery, packaging, and audio.
• Day-to-day performance, quality, staffing, and efficiency of the Malaysia-based team.
• Aligning processes across countries and sites for consistency.
• Coordinating collaboration across a distributed, multi-country workforce.
• Growing the next layer of leadership — coaching Directors and Managers underneath them.
• Maintaining client relationships at studio/streaming level and handling escalations.
• Identifying and weighing automation opportunities to improve workflow.
• Supporting sales efforts to win new clients and expand existing accounts.
• Collaborating with global leadership on strategy, staffing plans, and quality initiatives.
• Spotting operational problems early and fixing them before escalation.
