Job summary

HID Global is seeking a Planning Officer to support production planning, scheduling, and cross-functional coordination to ensure timely deliveries in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The role emphasizes planning accuracy, KPI tracking, and proactive communication with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Customer Service teams. English and Bahasa Melayu proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering, or related field.
• 2–4 years in production planning, scheduling, or operations coordination.
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems; SAP or Oracle familiarity preferred.
• Strong English communication; Bahasa Melayu proficiency required.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production plans to meet shipment demand and manage backlog.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure planning requirements and material readiness.
• Monitor daily output and adjust schedules to address gaps or constraints.
• Track timelines and progress against schedule commitments.
• Prepare planning reports on backlog, delivery performance, and readiness.
