Job summary

HID Global is seeking a Planning Officer at our i-Park, Kulai site to support production planning and scheduling. You will coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Warehouse, and Customer Service to align resources and priorities, monitor schedules, and drive on-time delivery in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

The ideal candidate holds a Diploma or Bachelor’s in Supply Chain or Engineering, with 2–4 years’ planning experience and proficiency in ERP/MRP systems such as SAP or Oracle;

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain, Business, Engineering
• 2–4 years of experience in production planning, scheduling, or operations coordination
• Experience using ERP/MRP systems for planning and tracking; SAP/Oracle preferred
• Experience in manufacturing environment preferred
• Knowledge of supply chain planning concepts and inventory management
• Strong attention to detail with accuracy and quality

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain production plans and schedules to meet shipment demand and manage backlog.
• Coordinate with internal departments to ensure planning requirements and material readiness.
• Monitor daily production output and WIP against plan and adjust schedules as needed.
• Monitor timelines and track progress against schedule commitments.
• Track KPIs such as OTD, backlog, scrap and schedule adherence.
• Identify planning gaps and support corrective actions.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance planning accuracy and efficiency.
• Assist in planning data management and reporting.
