Job summary

GEA Group in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Payroll Specialist to implement, maintain, and review payroll processes ensuring timely salaries, benefits, taxes, and deductions.

You will handle updates for new hires, terminations, transfers, and pay-rate changes, maintain accurate records, ensure compliance with local payroll laws, and support regional mobility and expatriate payroll responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Administrative writing and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• 2+ years of payroll processing experience in SEA.
• Strong reporting and organizing skills.
• Good time management and teamwork.
• Strong verbal communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Strong work ethics.
• Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities.
• Good project management skills.

Responsibilities

• Implements, maintains, and reviews payroll processing for salaries, benefits, taxes, and deductions.
• Processes payroll updates for new hires, terminations, transfers, and pay-rate changes.
• Prepare and maintain accurate payroll transactions records and reports.
• Ensure compliance with payroll laws and best practices.
• Manage mobility and expatriate payroll and statutory benefits.
• Sustain outsourcing vendor service levels and vendor relationships.
• Support HR operations on payroll renewal and updates.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to deliver payroll-related programs.
• Serve as a consultant to HRBP on payroll and mandatory benefits.
• Facilitate audits by providing records to auditors.
• Identify updates to payroll software, systems, and procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned from global or local teams.
