Job summary

Intel Corporation is seeking a Payroll Specialist on a contract basis in Malaysia (Penang) to deliver accurate payroll and benefits administration across regions. You will ensure compliance with local laws and tax requirements while handling employee queries and collaborating with global vendors.

The role supports the SSC HR Services and requires strong Excel skills, payroll accounting experience, and familiarity with SOX controls.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Finance, Accounting, or related field.
Fresh graduates and early-career professionals welcome.
Proficiency in English (written and verbal).
Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis.
Experience in payroll accounting, SOX compliance, and automation tools.

Responsibilities

Manage and execute daily payroll and benefits administration tasks across regions.
Collaborate with external vendors globally and regionally to meet service targets.
Maintain country-specific knowledge of legal and tax requirements to ensure compliance.
Resolve employee payroll and benefits queries within target timelines.
Support regional HR Services teams on complex issues and program implementations.
Ensure adherence to document retention, reporting, and audit requirements.
Analyze payroll processes to identify improvements in systems and procedures.
Maintain relationships with Finance, Tax, Accounting, HR, Mobility, and HR Legal teams.
