Job summary

Dyson is seeking an experienced Operations Leader to direct daily manufacturing activities in a high-mix environment. You will drive output, quality, and compliance across global partners while developing teams and processes to deliver on-time, in-full product delivery.

The role requires deep expertise in Lean, Six Sigma, and related methodologies, with strong stakeholder engagement and risk management skills. English fluency is essential; Mandarin/Cantonese is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ operations leadership experience in electronics or contract manufacturing.
• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or related technical discipline.
• Deep proficiency in world-class manufacturing methodologies: Lean, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, Hoshin Kanri.
• Experience managing both direct and indirect teams with strong stakeholder engagement.
• Fluency in English; Chinese language skills are advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee and manage day-to-day manufacturing operations to maximise output, productivity, and product quality.
• Build and cultivate strong relationships with key stakeholders in partner organizations.
• Oversee end-to-end factory performance, championing operational excellence and compliance with CSER, health & safety, and ethical standards.
• Define, implement, and improve KPIs (OTIF, quality, cost, yield, throughput) with robust reporting and analytics.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives using lean, Six Sigma, 5S, Kaizen, and related methodologies.
• Inspire, mentor, and develop both direct and indirect teams, fostering accountability and inclusion.
• Coordinate cross-functional teams within Dyson and with external partners to ensure seamless delivery.
