Job summary

Dyson Institute in Shenzhen, China, seeks a Lead Systems Engineer to own systems engineering activities within the New Product Development framework. You will translate product vision into clear requirements, build MBSE models, coordinate with ODM/JDM partners, and drive verification activities across Dyson and external partners.

You will lead a growing team of systems engineers, mentor staff, and ensure cross‑functional collaboration with design, hardware, software and supply chain.

Qualifications

• A first degree in Mechanical/Mechatronics/Electrical/Electronics/Software Engineering.
• 3+ years in Systems Engineering in product development.
• Experience with MBSE and SysML is desirable.
• Experience working with ODM/JDM partners is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Primary contact between Dyson internal teams and ODM/JDM partners on Systems Engineering topics.
• Translate product vision into clear, concise requirements and cascade to subsystems.
• Develop system architectures using MBSE and ensure verifiable specifications.
• Lead and mentor a growing team of Systems Engineers across levels.
• Coordinate verification/validation activities and balance requirements early.
