Job summary

Dyson Institute is seeking an Outsourced Procurement Manager to lead commercial contracts, cost negotiations, and supplier relationships with Tier 1 manufacturers. You will work with Operations, Finance, Engineering and Project teams to deliver cost savings, contract revisions, and timely issue resolution.

The role requires a degree in Engineering with 7+ years in procurement, strong global procurement knowledge, and evident leadership capabilities.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering with at least 7 years' experience within the procurement function.
• Strong commercial background within a Manufacturing/ Engineering environment.
• Experienced in dealing with EMS, CM vendors.
• Strong understanding and experience of Global procurement & legal regulations.
• Excellent communicator; able to present update and challengers in a clear and concise manner.
• Capable in planning and project management.
• Strong business acumen, advanced data analytics skills.
• Comfortable with a fast-paced and intellectually challenging work environment.

Responsibilities

• Manage all commercial contracts, cost and claim negotiations with Tier 1 suppliers.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure smooth operations with manufacturing partners.
• Act as key liaison to manage the relationship between Dyson and assigned suppliers (contract manufacturers).
• Lead regular and ad-hoc supplier meetings and drive timely completion of tasks.
• Provide strategic advice to management to support business decisions.
• Coach junior team members and develop procurement capabilities.
