Job summary

Agilent Technologies in Penang is seeking an NPI Lead / MSAT System Engineer to optimize mechanical and mechatronic assemblies, PCAs, modules, and complete products. You will bridge R&D, Quality and Manufacturing, translating product innovations into scalable, high-performance manufacturing at the Penang site, with focus on Spectroscopy-related products.

You will lead NPI transfers, apply DfX, develop test and industrialization strategies, and drive platform standards.

Qualifications

8+ years of engineering experience.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering.
Strong English communication skills.
Experience with CAD tools.
Experience with PCBA design and manufacturing.
Project management and cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

Own mechanical and/or mechatronic assemblies, PCAs, modules and complete products within the MSAT platform.
Coordinate cross-functional Operations, R&D, and other teams.
Lead the transfer of new products from development into mass production.
Apply Design-for-Excellence (DfX) to quality, cost, manufacturability, and automation.
Lead cross-functional value creation using manufacturing technologies and process innovation.
Drive prototype ramp, reliability validation, and launch readiness.
