Job summary

ECHO in Malaysia seeks a Global Monitoring, Evaluation, Accountability and Learning Officer to help develop and roll out a Global MEAL system that fosters a learning organization. You will collect, analyze and communicate program data to inform decisions, under the direction of the Global MEAL Lead.

You'll contribute quantitative data and qualitative stories to track progress on strategic indicators, maintain data quality, and design clear, compelling reports for diverse stakeholders across

• Basic quantitative and qualitative monitoring, reporting, data analysis, and evaluation abilities.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to manage multiple tasks independently.
• Excellent communication with diverse stakeholders in a cross-cultural, team-oriented environment.
• Experience with data protection and safeguarding in handling communities’ data.
• Proactive learning attitude and commitment to MEAL capacity building.

Responsibilities

• Grow a Learning Organization by improving MEAL practices and tool development.
• Support regional teams with MEAL planning and activity planning.
• Document results and stories of change for reporting and learning.
• Participate in outcome harvesting and mapping exercises and reflect on findings.
• Contribute to dashboarding and data visualization as needed.
