Job summary

Jabil in Malaysia seeks a Global Materials Manager to lead the materials strategy across the assigned business unit. You will guide analysis, strategy development, and implementation for supply chain development, procurement, planning and inventory control, aligning with customer needs and Jabil’s goals.

Responsibilities include staffing, leadership development, performance management, and ensuring continuity of product supply.

Qualifications

• Leads and staffs the global materials team to meet objectives.
• Develops and communicates mission and goals for roles within the business unit.
• Champions cost analysis and continuous improvement in SCM.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement the materials strategy aligned with customer needs and Jabil goals.
• Drive planning and inventory control to support master schedule and revenue projections.
• Lead supplier qualification, RFQ processes and cost optimization initiatives.
• Ensure effective communication and leadership across workcells and management levels.
