Job summary

Jabil Malaysia is seeking a seasoned Commodity Manager to lead strategic supply chain initiatives across multiple business units. You will develop global commodity strategies, manage supplier development and drive cost efficiency.

The role requires strong leadership, analytical skills, and proven ability to translate business needs into actionable plans, with a focus on metrics, governance, and continuous improvement. Travel may be required to support global sourcing activities.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Materials Logistics Management, or related discipline.
Five years related experience in electronics manufacturing, materials management, negotiation, cost reduction activities and materials planning.
Domestic and international travel is required.

Responsibilities

Lead leadership and people management responsibilities within Commodity Management.
Develop, implement and measure global commodity strategies and supplier development.
Define and implement cost reduction and process improvements across supply chain functions.
Manage forecasting, budgeting and performance metrics for assigned commodities.
Communicate strategic direction and provide regular updates to management and stakeholders.
Influence and collaborate with internal teams to meet business goals.
