Job summary

Jabil is seeking a Supply Chain Program Manager I in Malaysia to drive supply chain deliverables for designated design initiatives within the Product Creation Process. You will analyze situations, develop strategies, and guide procurement, manufacturing, and logistics to align with Jabil’s SCM goals.

Responsibilities include cost estimation for custom materials, supplier evaluations, RFQ execution, and collaboration with engineers to choose cost-effective manufacturing options.

Qualifications

• Budgets experience and project management skills including scheduling and forecasting resource allocation.
• Advanced PC skills and familiarity with project management software.
• Proficient in Pro-E and SolidWorks; strong MS Office suite knowledge (Project, Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Visio).
• Ability to read, analyze, interpret and communicate technical and financial information.
• Ability to present information to management and stakeholders.
• Ability to read and speak English.
• Problem solving in environments with non-standardized variables.
• Ability to interpret various instructions and work plans.

Responsibilities

• Lead supply chain deliverables across PCP for assigned design initiatives.
• Conduct situational analysis, strategy development, and guidance for supply chain functions.
• Perform DFM reviews prior to design release.
• Estimate costs for custom engineered materials and tool costs.
• Collaborate with design engineers to determine cost-effective manufacturing processes.
• Coordinate supplier evaluations and qualification activities.
• Manage RFQ processes and supplier negotiations to optimize terms.
• Assist with BOM/AVL control and early supplier involvement.
• Support early design involvement and localization of suppliers.
• May perform other duties as assigned.
