Job summary

Siliconware in Malaysia is seeking a Logistics Coordinator to manage import/export operations and customs processes. You will coordinate delivery dates for raw materials and equipment, liaise with freight forwarders, and oversee payables related to imports/exports.

Training in Taiwan may be arranged if required, with free accommodation and travel support. The role requires a bachelor degree and at least 1 year of related experience, with English and Chinese language proficiency for client

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in related discipline.
Minimum 1 year of related work experience.
Language proficiency: English, Chinese to effectively communicate with Chinese-speaking clients.
Willingness to train in Taiwan; travel, accommodation and training allowance provided if required.

Responsibilities

Coordinate and manage delivery dates for raw materials, machinery and equipment, tooling import and export operation processes.
Accept customs consultation and handle customs case applications to reduce random inspection rate and improve timeliness of purchase.
Prepare annual import costs and confirm implementation results.
Manage freight forwarders and customs brokers to ensure related services meet demand.
Collect information on price comparisons of ocean and air transporters, shipping companies and customs brokers.
Request payment for import and export related expenses, and ensure expenditure of payables is controlled.
Other tasks assigned by the manager.
