Job summary

Inventec Appliances (Malaysia) Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a logistics professional to enforce import/export policies and coordinate shipment operations in Penang. You will interface with customs and government agencies, prepare duty and tax exemption applications, and oversee documentation to ensure timely, compliant deliveries.

The role requires 1–2 years in a related field, experience in electronics manufacturing, and strong Malay/English. Mandarin is a plus; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years in related field required
• Experience in electronics manufacturing industry preferred
• Good written and spoken Malay and English; Mandarin a plus
• Willingness to travel upon request

Responsibilities

• Enforce operational policies and procedures for import/export shipping
• Interface with customs and government agencies
• Prepare import duty, tax exemption applications and related LMW documentation
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations and maintain statutory records
• Coordinate with forwarding agents for customs-related issues and shipments
• Prepare shipping documents and liaise with freight forwarders for quotations
• Monitor import shipment schedules with Purchasing, Warehouse, Planning & SCM
• Report shipping problems to Supply Chain Manager during order fulfilment
• Arrange truck transportation and handle ad hoc management tasks
