Job summary

PSA BDP is seeking a Logistics Executive in Petaling Jaya to support order processing, data entry, and customs paperwork within a dynamic freight forwarding environment. The role involves handling shipping instructions, job creation in Meridian, and ensuring accuracy in shipment data.

You will coordinate with customs, brokers, carriers, and warehouse teams to ensure on-time movement, billing accuracy, and proper job closure while upholding regulatory compliance in import/export activities.

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in Supply Chain/Logistics Management or equivalent.
• 1-3 years in freight forwarding, preferably export department.
• Able to multitask, work with team, and follow lead's instructions.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify customer shipping instructions and documents.
• Open and register jobs in the Meridian in-house system.
• Ensure accurate data entry of shipment details and customer information.
• Maintain proper filing and documentation records.
• Prepare and declare customs forms in accordance with regulations.
• Submit declarations and monitor status until approval.
• Liaise with customs authorities or brokers as needed.
• Ensure compliance with import/export regulations.
• Submit ISD and monitor container movement through port.
• Coordinate with transporters and warehouse teams for timely movement.
