Job summary

The Supply Chain & Logistics Coordinator at FILPAL (M) SDN BHD will manage end-to-end logistics for domestic and international shipments, ensure customs compliance, maintain inventory accuracy, and support procurement and supplier follow-ups across the group.

The role requires strong coordination, communication, and problem-solving skills to collaborate with freight forwarders, internal teams, and regulatory authorities, ensuring smooth and compliant operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in SCM, logistics, business administration, or related field.
• Proficiency in MS Office and logistics/inventory systems.
• Strong organizational and time management skills with ability to handle multiple shipments and priorities.
• Excellent communication, coordination, and negotiation skills with freight forwarders, customs officers, suppliers, and internal teams.
• Analytical and problem-solving abilities for logistics challenges and improvements.
• High integrity, professionalism, confidentiality, responsibility, and accuracy in handling documents and inventory.
• Proactive, resourceful, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and in teams in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate domestic and international import/export shipments with freight forwarders and customs.
• Deliver and pick up goods, documents, and materials across the network.
• Monitor shipments, update records, ensure on-time delivery.
• Prepare and manage documents: DOs, invoices, packing lists, COO docs.
• Assist with customs clearance and ensure compliance with trade regulations.
• Handle temporary import/export processes.
• Prepare and complete applications for tax exemptions, COO for Malaysia/Singapore.
• Maintain accurate stock records and update inventory systems.
• Support procurement with BOM, pricing, lead times, and payment terms.
• Follow up with suppliers on delivery timelines and issues.
• Liaise with internal teams and stakeholders to align expectations.
• Maintain logistics records (hardcopy and software) and generate reports.
• Provide training and ad hoc reporting support.
