Job summary

Hai Soon Leong Sdn Bhd is seeking a dedicated Logistics Assistant in Semenyih to manage import/export shipments and prepare critical documents. You will coordinate with warehouse, sales, procurement, and external partners to ensure timely delivery and accurate records.

The role requires basic knowledge of shipping documents, proficiency in MS Word/Excel, and good communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply, with on-site work in Semenyih.

Qualifications

Minimum SPM / Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field.
Preferably 1 year of experience in import/export, shipping or logistics.
Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
Basic knowledge of import/export and shipping documents is an advantage.
Familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel.
Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
Responsible, organised and able to work independently.
Willing to work in Semenyih.

Responsibilities

Handle import and export shipment arrangements.
Prepare shipping documents such as invoice, packing list, Bill of Lading and other related documents.
Liaise with freight forwarders, transporters and shipping agents.
Follow up shipment status and delivery schedule.
Coordinate with Warehouse, Sales, Procurement and other departments.
Maintain proper filing and records for import/export documents.
Assist with customs clearance and permit applications.
Check freight and logistics-related invoices.
Perform other administrative duties assigned by the superior.
