Job summary

Hai Soon Leong in Semenyih is seeking an Import/Export Clerk to manage shipment arrangements and prepare essential documents. You will liaise with freight forwarders and shipping agents to ensure timely deliveries and accurate record-keeping.

The role requires basic knowledge of import/export procedures, proficiency with Word/Excel, and the ability to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM / Diploma in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain or related field.
• Preferably 1 year of experience in import/export, shipping or logistics.
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Basic knowledge of import/export and shipping documents is an advantage.
• Familiar with Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Able to communicate in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Responsible, organised and able to work independently.
• Willing to work in Semenyih.

Responsibilities

• Handle import and export shipment arrangements.
• Prepare shipping documents such as invoice, packing list, Bill of Lading and other related documents.
• Liaise with freight forwarders, transporters and shipping agents.
• Follow up shipment status and delivery schedule.
• Coordinate with Warehouse, Sales, Procurement and other departments.
• Maintain proper filing and records for import/export documents.
• Assist with customs clearance and permit applications.
• Check freight and logistics-related invoices.
• Perform other administrative duties assigned by the superior.
