Job summary

Deutsche Post DHL in Malaysia is seeking an experienced RTR Accountant to maintain general ledger, ensure accurate financial reporting, and support internal controls.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance, professional qualification (CPA/ACCA) is an advantage, and at least 4 years' RTR experience in a fast-paced environment. Proficiency in MS Office and strong analytical skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (CPA/ACCA or equivalent) is an advantage.
• Minimum 4 years of RTR experience.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
• Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger accounts, including journal preparation, review and approval.
• Reconcile financial data to supporting documentation and ensure balance sheet accounts are valid, accurate and complete.
• Review Capex purchase requisitions to align with policy and procedure.
• Regularly review bank open items to ensure timely reconciliation and follow up on discrepancies.
• Monitor reporting of fixed assets, intercompany transactions with SSC and local finance team.
• Support cash management activities including banking transactions.
