Job summary

Prudential Services Asia in Kuala Lumpur is seeking an Infrastructure Monitoring Engineer to ensure 24x7 operations and reliable IT services across systems. You will monitor, respond to alerts, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to minimize incident impact.

The role requires hands-on experience with operating systems, hardware, applications, and security standards, plus familiarity with IaaS cloud platforms (Azure and Google Cloud). ITIL knowledge and strong communication are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS or related field.
• ITIL Foundation or higher preferred.
• 2+ years in a Command Centre or monitoring role.
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, security, and networking.

Responsibilities

• Continuous monitoring of IT systems to detect and resolve issues.
• Manage hardware, software, network, and server administration.
• Respond to alerts per SOPs and escalate when needed.
• Conduct regular system audits and troubleshoot incidents.
• Collaborate with teams to resolve complex incidents and improve processes.
• Generate reports on incidents, performance, and client satisfaction.
