Job summary

Prudential Services Asia is seeking an Infrastructure Monitoring Engineer to ensure 24/7 operations, monitor IT systems, respond to alerts, and maintain high availability across hardware, software, networks, and servers.

The role requires ITIL Incident/Problem/Change Management, familiarity with IaaS (Azure/Google Cloud), and strong communication skills to collaborate with IT colleagues while maintaining SOPs and security standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
• 2+ years in a Command Centre environment.
• Strong knowledge of IT applications, infrastructure and cybersecurity.
• Experience with ITIL Incident/Problem/Change Management.

Responsibilities

• Continuous monitoring of IT systems to detect and resolve issues and ensure optimal performance and availability.
• Manage hardware, software, network, and server administration.
• Respond to alerts/events affecting systems availability according to SOPs.
• Conduct regular system audits and troubleshoot issues.
• Escalate issues to higher level support when necessary.
• Capture learnings and update SOPs/Runbooks/Knowledge Base for repeat issues.
• Ensure alerts are escalated as incidents to the correct support group promptly.
• Complete training on SOPs, Runbooks, Knowledge Base, and technologies required for the role.
• Adhere to SOPs and company policies and guidelines.
• Provide feedback to Tools and Technology teams to improve monitoring capabilities.
• Collaborate with other teams to resolve complex incidents and improve processes.
• Participate in Problem Management forums to reduce recurring incidents.
• Generate and review reports on performance, incident trends, and client satisfaction.
