Job summary

Global Envdk is seeking an experienced finance professional to lead the group’s finance and accounting functions from our Malaysia operations. The role requires 5–7 years of relevant experience and a solid understanding of group accounting and financial reporting.

You will oversee consolidation, budgeting, cash flow management, statutory compliance, and liaison with auditors and regulators while providing management with timely financial analysis and strategic input.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5–7 years of relevant working experience in finance and accounting.
• Strong knowledge of group accounting and financial reporting.
• Experience in handling basic accounting functions for logistics and plantation operations.
• Familiar with budgeting, cash flow management, financial analysis, and statutory compliance.
• Proficient in accounting software and Microsoft Office applications.
• Strong analytical, leadership, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee the full spectrum of finance and accounting functions for the Group.
• Prepare consolidated financial statements and management reports.
• Monitor cash flow, budgets, and financial performance.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and statutory requirements.
• Liaise with auditors, tax agents, bankers, and regulatory authorities.
• Support management in financial planning and decision-making.
