Job summary

Nextgreen Pulp & Paper Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a seasoned Group Finance Manager to oversee the Group’s closing processes, consolidation, and financial reporting in Malaysia.

You will partner with subsidiaries, ensure MFRS compliance, and drive accuracy in management accounts and statutory statements. The role requires 8–10 years of relevant experience, strong consolidation, ERP and leadership skills, and a track record in public-listed company environments.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting or equivalent professional qualification.
• Professional accounting qualification and/or MIA membership would be an advantage.
• 8–10 years of relevant accounting and finance experience, preferably with group reporting and consolidation.
• Experience in a public listed company environment would be highly advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Oversee monthly, quarterly and annual financial closings for the Group.
• Review subsidiary management accounts for accuracy and consistency.
• Coordinate group consolidation including intercompany balances and adjustments.
• Assist in preparation and review of quarterly results and annual financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with MFRS, Companies Act and Bursa Malaysia.
• Provide variance analysis on revenue, profitability and cash flow.
• Support FP&A with budgeting, forecasting and cash flow planning.
• Lead groups finance team activities and coordinate with external auditors.
