Job summary

CBRE Group, Inc. is seeking an FP&A Specialist in Klang Valley, Malaysia, to manage client financial reporting, upload actuals/forecast into Adaptive, and prepare variance analysis for clients.

The role supports the facilities management business line and collaborates with the Property Managers on repairs and investment plans. Responsibilities include monthly financial reporting, real-time monitoring during month-end, and coordinating with regional finance leads.

Qualifications

• Education: Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
• Minimum 4-5 years’ experience in finance / accounting.
• Attention to detail, highly organized and methodical in your approach to work and the ability to deliver high-quality work under pressure and on time.
• Must be team and results oriented with high level of commitment.
• Excellent inter-personal/communication skills.
• Proficiency in English. Ability to effectively interact with and adapt to both Asian and Western business management style/culture.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel.
• Adaptive/Alteryx knowledge is an advantage
• Ability to adapt to business environment changes.
• Ability to work in a flexible time zone and fast-paced environment with multiple priorities / parties.
• Learns quickly and has strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide support to client by managing client financial reporting from uploading actuals and forecast into Adaptive till publication of variance reporting into My Vantage.
• Creates variance analysis reports and financial models.
• Support finance dedicated team on real-time financial performance monitoring during month end closing.
• Escalates any financial issues to respective regions whenever there are unusual numbers posted in actuals and forecast.
• Prepare detailed and consolidated monthly financial reports to clients on actual vs budget vs forecast.
• Any other assignments as directed by the cluster Finance Manager/Director.
• Support on integrating the reporting to Adaptive system and share the service line report to each finance leads on daily basis to each regional finance leads.
• Support provided on client budgeting process which aligned to contractual requirement.
• Reshape of the customer reporting and alignment with key stakeholders.
• Involve in process improvement/automation.
