Job summary

CBRE is seeking a Finance Manager in Petaling Jaya, Malaysia to lead the finance strategy and operations team. You will oversee budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and management reporting while ensuring robust accounting policies and controls.

The role requires 3–5 years of relevant experience, leadership capability, and strong proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel. This position is on-site in Selangor and aligns with CBRE Global Workplace Solutions standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree preferred with 3-5 years of relevant experience.
• Experience in staffing, selection, training, development, coaching, mentoring, and rewarding performance.
• Ability to guide the exchange of sensitive information and convey performance expectations.

Responsibilities

• Provide formal supervision to employees; monitor training and development, conduct performance evaluations and coaching.
• Coordinate and manage daily activities, set work schedules and deadlines, cross-train staff.
• Oversee budgeting, forecasting, strategic planning, and standard management reporting.
• Review balance sheet analyses, cash flow statements, and consolidations for accuracy.
• Review and approve basic monthly journal entries.
• Produce routine and ad hoc financial reports and pro forma analyses for senior management.
• Coordinate development of accounting policies and procedures.
• Explain complex information and manage sensitive issues; influence stakeholders toward agreement.
• Lead by example in line with CBRE RISE values.
