Job summary

CBRE Global Workplace Solutions (GWS) seeks a FP&A Specialist in Klang Valley, Malaysia, to manage client financial reporting, variance analysis, and monthly close activities. The role requires 4–5 years of finance experience, a degree in Accounting/Finance, and strong Excel capabilities.

Familiarity with Adaptive/Alteryx is a plus. The position involves coordinating with regional finance leads, preparing consolidated reports, and supporting budgeting processes under contractual requirements.

Qualifications

• Degree in Accounting/Finance or related field preferred.
• 4–5 years’ experience in finance or accounting.
• Attention to detail with high-quality deliverables under pressure.
• Team and results oriented with strong commitment.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Proficiency in English and ability to interact with diverse management styles.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
• Adaptive/Alteryx knowledge is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Provide client financial reporting from actuals and forecast through variance reporting.
• Create variance analysis reports and financial models.
• Support finance team on real-time performance monitoring during month-end close.
• Escalate financial issues to regions when anomalies appear in actuals/forecast.
• Prepare detailed monthly financial reports to clients (actual vs budget vs forecast).
• Assist in integrating reporting to the Adaptive system and share lines reports daily.
• Support client budgeting processes aligned to contractual requirements.
• Contribute to customer reporting alignment with key stakeholders.
• Participate in process improvement and automation initiatives.
