Job summary

Pac Lease Berhad in Malaysia is seeking a financially astute professional to support planning, reporting, and compliance across the group. You will help prepare budgets and forecasts, deliver insightful analyses to management, and coordinate audits with external parties.

You will work closely with management and the holding company, ensuring timely, accurate financial reporting and adherence to accounting standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field.
• Professional qualifications ACCA, CPA, MICPA, CIMA or equivalent preferred.
• 3–5 years of FP&A, management reporting, financial reporting or audit experience.
• Strong knowledge of financial reporting standards, budgeting, forecasting, and audits.
• Detail-oriented with strong interpersonal, communication and teamwork skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing the annual budget and periodic forecasts.
• Monitor performance against budgets and forecasts; explain key variances.
• Prepare financial analysis and management insights for the team.
• Coordinate and manage the annual statutory audit process.
• Liaise with external auditors, tax agents, and regulators.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for the holding company.
• Ensure timely, accurate submission of financial information per group reporting requirements.
• Respond to financial and reporting queries from the holding company.
• Identify and implement process improvements.
