Job summary

InTEST Thermal is seeking an enthusiastic early-career Field Service Engineer in Penang, Malaysia. The role involves installation, maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of customer systems at client sites, with opportunities for hands-on learning and travel.

You will work with the Head of Global Service, Sales, and Service Administration to ensure excellent customer experiences and reliable system performance, supported by structured training and mentorship.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related technical field.
• Strong interest in hands-on engineering and field work.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and systems.
• Strong communication and customer-focused mindset.
• Ability to travel up to 75% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation and commissioning of new customer systems.
• Perform preventative maintenance and calibrations (NIST and ISO 17025).
• Troubleshoot technical issues at customer sites and analyze product performance.
• Communicate with customers to understand concerns and provide updates.
• Complete service documentation and reports using CRM tools.
• Support parts ordering and service logistics.
