Job summary

LB Aluminium Berhad is seeking an Export Business Development Executive to drive export sales growth from its Seremban facility. This full-time role focuses on identifying new export opportunities, building strategic relationships with overseas clients, and managing the export process from initiation to delivery.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Commerce, Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years' experience in export sales, international business development or import/export operations.
• Strong knowledge of export procedures, customs regulations and international trade practices.
• Proficiency in English and at least one additional language (Mandarin or other Asian languages preferred).

Responsibilities

• Identify, research and develop new export markets and business opportunities for aluminium products.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with international clients, distributors and business partners.
• Prepare and present compelling business proposals, quotations and commercial offers to prospective overseas clients.
• Coordinate with customs and logistics teams to ensure compliance with import/export regulations and smooth shipment processing.
• Manage export documentation including invoices, bills of lading, certificates of origin and customs declarations.
• Monitor market trends, competitor activities and pricing to inform strategic decisions.
• Liaise with production, QA and operations teams to ensure timely delivery and product specs meet client requirements.
• Develop and implement export sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and expand market share.
• Negotiate contracts and terms with international buyers while ensuring profitability and compliance.
• Track and report on export sales performance, market opportunities and business development activities.
