Job summary

VAT Vakuumventile AG in Malaysia is seeking a dedicated Planning and Supply Chain Assistant to support sales order processing, production scheduling, and data integrity across planning systems. You will work with planners and cross-functional teams to ensure on-time deliveries and accurate inventory data.

The role requires a Diploma with 1–2 years in planning, supply chain or business management, strong communication, and proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Minimum Diploma holder with 1-2 years of experience in Planning, Supply Chain and/or Business Management.
• Strong communication and cross-functional collaboration skills; able to interact with management.
• Self-motivated team player with ability to work under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Assist in sales order processing activities, including order acknowledgement and confirmation according to established procedures.
• Perform sales order maintenance, date updates, rescheduling and order follow-up under planners' guidance.
• Support production schedule updates and coordinate information flow between planning and production teams.
• Expedite transfer order transactions to ensure timely production order releases.
• Monitor data accuracy in planning systems and databases; prepare reports on orders, schedules, inventory, and deliveries.
• Follow up with internal stakeholders to obtain information required for order fulfillment and planning.
• Escalate supply shortages or order issues to the responsible planner for resolution.
• Assist in tracking customer orders and ensuring planning information is updated promptly.
• Support inventory verification and data validation activities as assigned.
