Job summary

VAT Vakuumventile AG, a leading vacuum valves and sealing technology company, seeks a Supply Chain/Demand Planning Analyst in Penang, Malaysia. You will drive demand planning excellence, forecast governance, and inventory optimization, aligning Sales, Operations and SCM while building dashboards and delivering data-driven insights.

The role requires 5–8 years in related fields, strong analytical skills, and proficiency in Power BI and ERP systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a related field.
• 5–8 years in Demand Planning, Inventory Management, or Supply Chain roles.

Responsibilities

• Analyze short- and long-term forecast demand using historical data, backlog, trends, seasonality, and lead-time variability.
• Own monthly demand forecast review with Sales, Operations, and Supply Chain.
• Identify forecast deviations and drive corrective actions.
• Lead continuous improvement initiatives to improve forecast accuracy and inventory turnover.
• Build dashboards with IT to monitor demand trends and key metrics.
