Job summary

Jing Wei Hirain Automotive Electronics Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Production Planning professional to develop weekly production plans and monitor execution. You will create rework plans based on NCMR forms and assist in implementing new product introductions and changes.

The role involves monitoring aged semi-finished goods, collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely scheduling, and ensuring compliance with IATF16949, MMOG, and lean manufacturing standards.

Qualifications

• Experience with production planning and scheduling.
• Understanding of IATF16949 and lean manufacturing is a plus.
• Familiarity with ERP and MES tools.

Responsibilities

• Develop weekly production plans and monitor plan execution.
• Create rework plans based on Non-Conforming Material Review (NCMR) forms.
• Assist in the implementation and validation of new product introductions and changes.
• Monitor the age of semi-finished goods in the factory, with a focus on inventory exceeding 30 days, and facilitate their disposition.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and efficient production scheduling.
• Ensure compliance with IATF16949, MMOG, lean manufacturing, and other relevant standards.
• Understand and proficiently utilize production planning tools and software, including SAP PP module, MES systems, and STAGES.
• Assist in managing product forecasts and delivery processes according to customer requirements.
• Oversee procurement activities and supplier management processes.
• Coordinate with warehouse management to optimize inventory control processes.
• Support the implementation and maintenance of ECN change control procedures.
• Familiarity with information security management processes and policies.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
