Job summary

Super Micro Computer, Inc. is seeking a Production Planning Engineer in Senai, Johor to support a fast-growing organization. You will plan, schedule, and balance production with demand while maintaining inventory objectives and capacity utilization.

The role requires coordinating across teams to meet delivery dates and improve manufacturing processes. The position focuses on developing master schedules, monitoring capacity, and driving on-time shipments while leveraging ERP/MRP systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or diploma in Engineering, SCM, Industrial Engineering or related field preferred.
3–5 years of experience in manufacturing or materials planning.
Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems and MRP.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, able to handle deviations and corrective actions.
Excellent communication and coordination with cross-functional teams.

Responsibilities

Develop operating plan summaries for product families, including demand, inventory and production data.
Provide daily bucketed schedules by SKU to manufacturing and track production compliance metrics.
Plan and prepare production schedules for manufacture of products.
Prepare master schedules to meet shipping dates per forecasts or orders.
Coordinate with cross-functional teams to resolve delays and optimize schedules.
