Job summary

Renesas Electronics is seeking a Senior Staff Test Engineer to lead test development strategy for high‑performance AI power solutions, defining long‑term ATE roadmaps and architectures. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering with 10+ years semiconductor experience at Staff/Senior Staff level.
• 10+ years experience on automated test solutions for high-end ATE platforms (Advantest V93K, COHU Diamondx, SPEA DOT800, ETS364).
• 8+ years hands-on ATE testing for analogue/digital/high-power/mixed-signal ICs.
• Expert in C++ and Python for production-grade automation.
• Proven bench/characterization data validation with lab instruments.
• Experience in high-performance ATE loadboard/probe card design and signal integrity.
• Strong communication and cross-functional influence.
• Willingness to travel 0–10%

Responsibilities

• Define and execute strategic test roadmaps to support NPIs, quality, and capability goals.
• Lead platform architecture and governance of test software/hardware to scale globally.
• Champion design-for-test guidelines for complex multi-die and power modules.
• Spearhead product qualification and cross-platform correlation strategies.
• Partner with Product, Design, and Operations to enable smooth production ramps.
• Provide executive-level oversight for yield optimization and cost reduction.
• Mentor staff and junior engineers to raise engineering standards.
• Manage vendor and OSAT relationships to align with Renesas roadmap.
