Job summary

Renesas Electronics Corporation seeks a Staff Process Test Engineer to lead the technical readiness for automotive semiconductor test operations. You will drive yield, OEE, and cycle-time improvements, ensuring robust test programs and reliable delivery to customers.

The role requires collaboration across Production, Quality, Maintenance, Planning and global engineering teams, with data-driven problem-solving to optimize costs and performance in high-volume manufacturing.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering (electrical/electronics or related).
• 6+ years in semiconductor test manufacturing or product/test engineering in high-volume fabs.
• Experience with Automated Test Systems (ATE) like ETS364, 93K SPEA, Diamondx, ETS800, Flex module tester.
• Strong cross-functional collaboration and communication skills.
• Willingness to support on-call duties.

Responsibilities

• Lead introduction and qualification of automotive semiconductor products from development to ramp-up.
• Provide technical ownership for final test operations, including yield monitoring and root-cause analysis.
• Drive profitability through yield improvement, OEE optimization, retest reduction, and cost-saving initiatives.
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Maintenance, Planning, Supply Chain, and global engineering teams.
• Analyze production and test data to identify improvement opportunities and drive corrective actions.
