Job summary

Renesas Electronics in Malaysia is seeking a Staff/Sr Staff Product Test Engineer to ensure product continuity in high-volume production. You will manage SPS, controllers, and AI product lifecycles, address production and process issues, and work to improve COGS while sustaining product quality.

The role requires collaboration with design, test, manufacturing, and quality teams, with experience in test hardware, automation, and data analysis.

Qualifications

• Experience with test hardware and test program development.
• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering in Electrical/Electronic, Physics, Computer or related fields.
• Experience with Advantest V93K, Terradyne ETS, COHU Diamondx, or SPEA DOT800.
• Proficient with ATE analog/digital instruments and strong debugging/troubleshooting skills.

Responsibilities

• Sustaining Staff Product Test Engineers ensures product continuity after mass production by manage SPS, controllers and various AI products lifecycle, resolving production, package, process issues, and improving COGS.
• We are seeking a Product & Test Expert to join our team with a primary focus on sustaining engineering activities.
• This role as the Product owner and is critical in ensuring the long-term quality, reliability, and manufacturability of our power IC products.
• The ideal candidate will collaborate with cross-functional teams—including design, test, manufacturing, and quality—to support mature products in high-volume production, drive yield improvement, resolve customer issues, and extend product lifecycle.
• Key Responsibilities Mass Production Sustaining Test Program owner to multiple products lifecycle.
