Job summary

Private Advertiser in Malaysia is seeking an Export Business Development Executive to drive export sales and expand international markets for aluminium products. The role involves identifying opportunities, building overseas client relationships, and managing the export process end-to-end.

You will coordinate with production, logistics and QA to ensure timely delivery, negotiate contracts, and monitor market trends.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Business, International Trade, Commerce, Engineering or related field.
• 1–3 years' export sales, international business development or import/export operations experience.
• Knowledge of export procedures, customs regulations and international trade practices.
• English proficiency with Mandarin or another Asian language preferred.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with international partners.
• Proficiency in MS Office and ERP systems.
• Willingness to travel for client meetings and market visits.
• Familiarity with aluminium or manufacturing industry operations.
• Knowledge of HS codes, tariff classifications and trade compliance.

Responsibilities

• Identify new export markets and opportunities for aluminium products.
• Build relationships with international clients, distributors and partners.
• Prepare proposals, quotations and commercial offers for overseas clients.
• Coordinate with customs and logistics for compliant shipments.
• Manage export documentation (invoices, bills of lading, certificates).
• Monitor market trends and pricing to inform strategy.
• Coordinate with production, QA and operations to ensure timely delivery.
• Develop export sales strategies to achieve revenue targets.
• Negotiate contracts with international buyers to ensure profitability.
• Track export sales performance and opportunities.
