Selkirk Sport, LLC in Malaysia is seeking a detail-oriented Accounting Associate to support U.S. accounting operations. The role focuses on data entry, vendor invoices, and payments while maintaining strong English communication.

The ideal candidate has 1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, high accuracy in high-volume entry, and proficiency with Google Sheets or Excel. You will work independently and as part of a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• 1–3 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience.
• Strong English communication, written and verbal.
• High-volume data entry accuracy and attention to detail.
• Proficient in spreadsheets for reconciliations and reporting.
• Highly organized and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Enter and process high volumes of vendor invoices and customer payments
• Reconcile bank and credit card transactions
• Manage AP and AR entries in our ERP
• Maintain organized filing systems for financial documents
• Support month-end and year-end closing processes
• Identify and resolve discrepancies in vendor and customer accounts to ensure accuracy and efficiency in financial transactions
• Complete accounting processes & tasks in our workflow system
• Use Google spreadsheets to process reports and accounting records
• Track and report accounting efficiency & issues to management
• Function in accordance with established standards, procedures, and applicable laws
• Improve accounting processes and create new documentation
