Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking an AR Team Lead cum GL & Reporting Team Lead to oversee Accounts Receivable operations, General Ledger accounting, and monthly close processes. The role focuses on accurate financial records, timely reporting, and team management.

The ideal candidate has about 5 years of experience in GL, FPA and IFRS, with a Bachelor Degree in Accounting. This position demands strong analytical skills and the ability to deliver high-quality financial reports to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting.
• 3–5 years experience in GL and financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience with GL, FPA and IFRS/IFRS-MFRS.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily GL operations and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare and review management accounts and financial statements.
• Analyze financial performance and provide variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
• Develop and enhance reporting processes and dashboards.
• Assist statutory audits and tax audits by providing required documentation.
• Support ad hoc data compilation and testing for projects (e.g., Project Fusion).
