The ideal candidate has about 5 years of experience in GL, FPA and IFRS, with a Bachelor Degree in Accounting. This position demands strong analytical skills and the ability to deliver high-quality financial reports to management.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Accounting.
• 3–5 years experience in GL and financial reporting.
• Hands-on experience with GL, FPA and IFRS/IFRS-MFRS.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily GL operations and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare and review management accounts and financial statements.
• Analyze financial performance and provide variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
• Develop and enhance reporting processes and dashboards.
• Assist statutory audits and tax audits by providing required documentation.
• Support ad hoc data compilation and testing for projects (e.g., Project Fusion).

This role ensures timely collection of receivables, accurate financial records, compliance with accounting standards, and delivery of high-quality financial reports to management.

Key Responsibilities

General Ledger (GL) Management

• Oversee daily GL operations and ensure accurate recording of financial transactions.
• Review journal entries, accruals, provisions, and reclassifications.
• Manage balance sheet reconciliations and ensure timely resolution of outstanding items.
• Ensure compliance with accounting policies, IFRS/MFRS, and internal controls.
• Support statutory audits and tax audits by providing required documentation.

Financial Reporting

• Lead month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes.
• Prepare and review management accounts and financial statements.
• Analyze financial performance and provide variance analysis against budgets and forecasts.
• Ensure timely submission of financial reports to management and stakeholders.
• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning activities.
• Develop and enhance reporting processes and dashboards. (FMM)
• Assists tax computation
• Assists audit ( schedule, draft report)

• Project Fusion needed support on compiling data or perform testing if any
