Job summary

Randstad Malaysia is seeking an experienced accounting professional responsible for full-spectrum accounting and financial reporting to support operations and executive decision-making. You will oversee GL, AP, AR, and bank reconciliations, manage daily sales reconciliation and POS reporting against cash counts, and perform month-end closes with variance analysis.

The role requires a Bachelor Degree with at least 3 years of experience, strong knowledge of local tax regulations, and proficiency

Qualifications

• Diploma or degree in accounting, finance, or related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of experience managing full sets of accounts.
• Strong knowledge of accounting standards, statutory reporting, and local tax regulations.
• Proficiency in accounting software systems and Advanced Microsoft Excel.

Responsibilities

• Oversee general ledger, accounts payable, accounts receivable, and bank reconciliations.
• Manage daily sales reconciliation and POS system reporting against physical cash counts.
• Perform month-end closing activities, financial statement preparation, and variance analysis.
• Ensure statutory compliance, corporate tax submissions, and local tax filings.
• Maintain internal control procedures and optimize accounting workflows for operational efficiency.
